Nicolas Pourbaix

Nicolas serves as in-house in the bio-pharmaceutical industry, covering a wide range of regulatory, anti-trust, procurement, pricing & reimbursement and access matters across Europe and providing general legal support to a large group of mid-sized EU countries. Also involved in EU government affairs & policy as an active member of EFPIA’s Pricing & Reimbursement, Competition and Legal Affairs Working Groups. Nicolas started his career in 2001 in the Public Procurement Directorate of the European Commission, where he was involved in the assessment of the procurement legislation of the then candidate countries ahead of their accession to the EU and the WTO Government Procurement Agreement. Subsequently, Nicolas worked for a trade association in the construction sector where he was involved in EU public affairs based in Paris and Brussels. He then spent 2.5 years in private practice in Brussels where he focussed on advice in relation to public procurement, competition and internal market and regulatory law.
