Maris Butans is a senior manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal Latvia. He was previously senior legal counsel at the Competition Council of Latvia. He studied at the Riga Graduate School of Law and University of Groningen (the Netherlands), where he obtained master’s degree in law and LLM in European Union Law respectively. His educational background is supplemented by postgraduate diploma from King’s College London in Economics for Competition Law.
