Marina Gibbs is Competition Policy Director at Ofcom. She has been at Ofcom for nearly five years. Marina is responsible for Ofcom’s work programme aimed at encouraging competition in the business leased lines and voice telephony markets, the effective operation of Openreach and the ongoing implementation of BT’s Undertakings. Prior to joining Ofcom, Marina was Partner at the specialist telecoms and media strategy consultancy Spectrum Strategy (now Value Partners) where she led a number of projects for telecoms clients internationally covering regulation, strategy, commercial strategy and business planning as well as providing commercial due diligence support to financial investors. Previously Marina worked for Cable & Wireless and BT.
