Maria is a French lawyer at Squair. She advises companies, from SMEs to listed companies, on general business law matters and in compliance. She is engaged in setting up compliance programs adapted to the specifics of the companies she advises, but also in auditing them for the purpose of the company or on behalf of third-parties. Her expertise has been recognized by Decideurs. Before joining Squair, Maria shared her career both in private practice at French law firms and in-house, acting as Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Manager. Maria is part of the teaching team of the ESSEC Advanced Certificate – Women Be European Board Ready and of the IRIS International Strategy Analyst Program. Maria was trained both in France and in the US. She holds an LL.M. from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX.
