


Maria Coppola
Maria Coppola is director of the Office of International Affairs (OIA) at the US Federal Trade Commission. She oversees the FTC’s international antitrust, consumer protection, and privacy engagement in both enforcement and policy matters. She also represents the FTC in multilateral fora including the International Competition Network and the OECD Competition Committee, and in the negotiation and implementation of international cooperation agreements and competition and consumer protection provisions of trade agreements. Ms Coppola previously served in various roles in OIA, as well as in the Bureau of Competition and as staff attorney in the FTC’s New York office. She obtained her law degree from Columbia Law School.
