


Maria Coppola
Maria Coppola is interim director of the Office of International Affairs at the US Federal Trade Commission. She is responsible for coordinating the FTC’s international antitrust and consumer protection policies and the FTC’s involvement in cases that raise international issues. She also represents the FTC in multilateral fora including the International Competition Network and the OECD Competition Committee, and in the negotiation and implementation of international cooperation agreements and competition and consumer protection provisions of trade agreements. Ms Coppola previously served as staff attorney in the FTC’s New York office. She obtained her law degree from Columbia Law School.
