Manas Kumar Chaudhuri is partner at Khaitan & Co (New Delhi). He advises clients on Competition Law & Policy and related legal / regulatory issues. He has been engaged while working as Additional Registrar in Competition Commission of India (CCI) in programmes to create public awareness on competition issues for various stakeholders as part of preparatory exercise for them till the CCI becomes fully operational. He has also been a guest faculty representing India in three international Competition Law & Policy workshops at Mauritius, Malawi and Botswana when he shared the podium with other International experts on the subject from Republic of South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Kenya. He has also attended a three-day Symposium on Competition Economics at the Oxford, UK organized by NERA Economic Consulting of UK. He has recently been nominated as an international resource on development of Competition Law & Policy for the Government of Bangladesh under International Finance Corporation, World Bank Group project scheduled to commence in early July 2009 at Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has also recently been appointed as Consultant Editor by Manupatra, a leading publisher of Law Reports and Judgments of Court and Tribunals for their quarterly Competition Law reports.
