Latvian Competition Council (Riga)

The main aim of the Competition Council is to enable the market participants to perform their economic activities in an environment characterised by free and fair competition as well as to promote competition development in all economic sectors for the benefit of the society as a whole. It acts as a guardian in relation to the prohibitions of abuse of dominant position and anticompetitive agreements and it conducts the review of mergers and other economic concentrations.
