Katarína Andová is Référendaire at the Court of Justice of the European Union since October 2021. She has been posted at the Court of Justice of the European Union since April 2005. In that capacity, she deals with legal issues of procedural nature and was involved in the reform of the Rules of Procedure of the General Court. Before joining the Court, Katarína was a researcher and assistant at the Institute for Comparative Law and International Private Law in Vienna. Katarína holds a law degree and a doctorate degree from the Law Faculty of the University in Vienna. She has been teaching in the master in european union law and litigation at Luxembourg University since 2018. She received the Figdor Prize of Law, Social Sciences and Economics of the Austrian Academy of Science for her doctoral thesis in 2004. She is a Slovakian national who works in seven languages.
