After nine years as a litigator at White & Case, John D. Rue is now in solo practice in New Jersey. Focused on education, disability, and civil rights law, with the breadth and depth of experience necessary to successfully handle virtually any general litigation matter in federal or state court in New York or New Jersey. John still work as a Consulting Attorney with White & Case on various issues surrounding antitrust litigation and antitrust law. When he was Associate, his practice focused on complex commercial litigation and counseling, and especially federal antitrust litigation. He also handled matters in the areas of bankruptcy, insurance, environmental and product liability. Mr. Rue had extensive experience defending companies in complex, multi-jurisdictional class actions, including those involving claims under the antitrust laws and consumer protection statutes. He represented clients in the petroleum, agricultural, financial services, and pharmaceutical industries. Mr. Rue graduated magna cum laude from Fordham Law School in 2004. Prior to law school, he worked as a theatrical director, and was awarded a Master of Fine Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in 1993. Mr. Rue is an Associate Member of the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers.
