Jean-Paul Montenot is lawyer in Paris since 1975. His main activity is the placing of food products in the European Union market. In that regard, he successfully took care of the small and medium French operator in the banana market for which it is no secret that it generated the largest number of referral to the CJUE. He was also present in 1990s in most procedures carried out by the French Competitive Council in agricultural sector. Today, he is one of the few French specialists of parallel importation of plant protection products and of their use by applicators. He has also good skills in market regulation of national interest and their involvement in terms of freedom of establishment as part of reference perimeters.
