From 1991 to 1997 he practiced in the Barcelona and Brussels offices of a leading Spanish law firm. Mr. Ruiz Calzado has been a regular speaker at the Masters Program in EU and National Competition Law at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and at the "Escuela Iberoamericana de la Competencia", the seminar for members of Antitrust Agencies from Latin America, which is hosted by the Spanish Competition Authority.
