Isidoro Niola is a Senior Legal Counsel at Johnson & Johnson Medical since February 2015. Before joining the company, he was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer - Roma office. He worked for the Antitrust, Competition and Trade as well as Energy and Natural Resources groups. He was mainly involved in regulatory issues related to the energy sector as well as in antitrust aspects arising from M&A operation in a number of sector, such as banking and financial services, pharmaceutical and automotive. Isidoro also worked for the Italian Antitrust Authority, Investigative Directorate B (Pharmaceutical, Food and Large-Scale Retail Trade) in Rome, where he was involved in a wide range of antitrust issues, dealing in particular with merger control issues. He graduated in law (J.D., magna cum laude) from the University of Naples in 2004 and he obtained a master degree in Business Law from SP.I.S.A. (Specialized School on Studies on Public Administration) - University of Bologna. Of Italian mother tongue, he speaks English fluently.
