Dieter Strubenhoff is partner at Jones Day. Dr. Dieter Strubenhoff focuses on resolving complex commercial disputes and represents clients in litigation as well as in national and international arbitration proceedings. He also acts as arbitrator in arbitration proceedings and represents clients in mediations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Dieter has extensive experience in the areas of international litigation proceedings and private international law issues. His practice focuses on national and international trade, distribution and company law, product liability law, insolvency-related disputes, and construction and engineering projects. He also advises on compliance issues and represents clients in compliance-related disputes, particularly those regarding the enforcement of and defence against damages claims. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2010, Dieter practiced for two years in Moscow and has broad experience advising on disputes relating to Russia and Central and Eastern Europe. During this time he was also seconded for six months to the in-house legal department of an international electronics group. Dieter is a member of several legal organizations, including the DIS (German Institution of Arbitration) and the Law Society in London.
