Lina Barauskaite is currently a case-handler at the European Commission, DG Competition. She is a EU competition lawyer with working experience in national and international law firms and enforcement agencies. Ms. Barauskaite obtained her Master degree in law from Vilnius University and LLM degree in EU competition law from College of Europe in Bruges. Ms. Barauskaite was also a Fulbright scholar at University of Pittsburgh were she studied US antitrust law. Lina Barauskaite started her professional career in EU competition law at European Commission, DG Competition working in cartel enforcement, further she was trained at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Brussels. For several years Ms. Barauskaite was practicing Lithuanian competition in Baltic law firm LAWIN. Lina Barauskaite was also working as International Antitrust Consultant at US Federal Trade Commission in Washington DC.
