Augusta holds a degree in Law as well as a Master’s degree in European Law (University of Law, Lithuania). She has also been studying European law in University of Aix-Marseille, France. Augusta has been working in Brussels since 2004, first as a trainee in the European Commission, and later in Lithuanian Permanent Representation to the EU, as consumer and civil law attaché. She has also been working in Lithuanian Consumer Protection Authority, where she was responsible for European issues and participated in developing an ADR system for consumer complaints. A Lithuanian native speaker, she is fluent in English, with good knowledge of French and Russian.
