This is a rather original book which is the result of various interviews with the 2009 Nobel Prize in Economics, Mrs Elinor Ostrom. It presents the major theses of this American economist and political scientist on the importance of collective action to bring about a change of scale and allow the emergence of a new governance and a new institutional economy, based in particular on a self-organized management of common goods. "Neither state nor market", the reader will thus be invited to take a third path which is intended to build sustainable socio-ecological systems .
