Jacques Moscianese: Putting antitrust issues at the heart of institutional affairs

Introduction/Background Jacques, you are currently Group Head of Institutional Affairs at one of the top banking groups in Europe. How would you briefly describe your background and journey until here? Well, my journey is my family’s journey. I was born in Paris in the summer of ’79. My father was an Italian immigrant, while my mother is a French citizen with Tunisian origins. I grew up in a hard-working family, where working is fundamental to define who you are. After high school, I decided to attend the Faculty of Law at Sorbonne University and—after my graduation—I decided to move to Siena, first, and then Milan to attend specialized postgraduate courses. I started working in Milan at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, then at the law firm of KPMG, where I matured my antitrust
