A few years after its entry into force, it is time to draw a first assessment of the application of the law on the protection of economic competition (L.P.C.E.). Whether it is a question of antitrust law, distribution agreements, abuse of a dominant position or the prior merger control procedure, competition law has become involved in all areas of business activity. This book aims to shed light on the application of the E.C.P.A. in practice. To this end, it brings together a team of young and experienced specialists. A representative of the Competition Council also sheds institutional light on this now indispensable branch of Belgian commercial law.
