Business helping business to comply with the law: ICC Antitrust Compliance Toolkit

In 2013 the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) published ICC Antitrust Compliance Toolkit (the “Toolkit”), the first practical guide designed by business for business of all sizes to build a robust and credible antitrust compliance programme. The key message conveyed by the Toolkit is that sustainable compliance is about culture, behaviour, and people. This year ICC released a second publication, entitled Why Complying with Competition Law is Good for Your Business, to help small or medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) improve antitrust compliance. This article presents the practical tools and tips set forth in the ICC antitrust compliance Toolkits together with insights on the issues faced by business in relation to antitrust compliance.
