The first joint conference Concurrences + George Washington University Competition Law Center took place on March 11, 2013, at GWU. The conference was chaired by Prof. Bill Kovacic. Keynote speakers included: Howard SHELANSKI (FTC), Susan CREIGHTON (Wilson Sonsini), William BLUMENTHAL (Clifford Chance), Renata B. HESSE (DoJ), Maureen K. OHLHAUSEN (FTC), Theodore VOORHEES (Covington & Burling), Mark WHITENER (General Electric), Leslie C. OVERTON (DoJ). This conference was launched at the occasion of the release of the book "William E. Kovacic - An Antitrust Tribute Vol. 1".
