WEBINAR #7 Enforcement, Covid and the Aftermath: Some Economic Myth Busting

Webinar of the "#NewAntitrust" Webinar Series organised by Concurrences with Pierre Régibeau (Chief Economist, DG COMP), Achim Wambach (Chairman, Monopoly Commission - President, ZEW), Mike Walker (Chief Economic Adviser, Competition and Markets Authority) and Cristina Caffarra (Head of European Competition, CRA).

This webinar was organised by Concurrences as part of the "#NewAntitrust Webinar Series" dedicated to competition policy in the aftermath of the Covid-19. This all-economist panel including enforcers aimed to bust some of the myths around the implications of the Covid-19 crisis and its aftermath for competition enforcement – mergers, cooperation, state aid… and the "welfare of champions” instead of consumers. The #NewAntitrust Webinar Series is held with the support of Concurrences partners. Part of the proceeds received for this Series will be donated to Doctors Without Borders working in projects around the world to fight the spread of coronavirus.
