The Competition Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina following a repeated investigation prosecutes the incumbent telecom operator for obstructing access to its network (BH Telecom)

On 6 February 2014 the Competition Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina (KV) [1] in a repeated investigation has established an abuse of dominant position committed by the incumbent telecom operator BH Telecom d.d. The KV has sanctioned the dominant operator for delaying the execution of inter-connection agreement with the independent provider Akt.online. The first investigation in BH Telecom case was commenced by the KV on 16 February 2010. [2] The investigation was prompted by the complaint submitted by an independent telecom operator Akt.online, which claimed that BH Telecom abused its dominant position by obstructing access to its fixed line network and applying discriminatory pricing on call termination services offered to the domestic providers.
