I. The Parties. Defendants: DTS Distribuidora de Televisión Digital, S.A. (DTS) is a company specialising in the management of the platform of satellite pay-TV Canal+. Grupo Telefónica is a group of companies specialising in telecommunications formed by the parent company Telefónica, S.A. and its subsidiaries. Telefónica, S.A. is active in the TV sector, amongst others. Telefónica de España, S.A.U. (TESAU) is a 100% subsidiary of Telefónica and is the leader in telecommunications in Spain being active in the pay-TV sector. Telefónica de Contenidos, S.A.U. is a 100% subsidiary of Telefónica that administers and exploits activities related to communication media and audio-visual and multimedia services. Telefónica Cable, S.A.U. is an operator of digital pay-TV services. Complainants:
