"Commission proposes change to Transparency Directive"* The Commission has accepted on 30 March 1999 a draft amendment to the so-called Transparency Directive 80/723/CEE [1]. This Directive in its present form [2] allows the Commission to investigate into the financial relations between Member States and public undertakings.
