Merger Control In Perspective e-Competitions, the private equivalent of the International Competition Network ('INC'), has reported close to 100 pharmaceutical mergers from all over the world since its inception in 2004. They are included in this Special Issue. Like no other tool, e-competition helps private practitioners to keep pace with the globalization of competition law. It 'spreads the word' as novel approaches pop up in different jurisdictions around the globe, and it contributes to shaping the universal patterns of competition law, competition law thinking, and competition law policy.
