1 Introduction [1] On 22 April 2015, seven months after it was notified of the incumbent telecoms operator Telefónica’s acquisition of sole control of Distribuidora de Televisión Digital, S.A. (“DTS”), the National Markets and Competition Authority (“CNMC”) cleared the deal subject to commitments [2].
