On 23 September 2015, the Polish Court of Competition and Consumer Protection (“SOKiK”) issued a judgment in case no. XVII AMA 112/12 in which it annulled the Chairperson of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection’s (“UOKiK”) decision of 23 November 2011 in case no. DOK-8/2011. The case concerns an alleged cartel of major mobile telecom operators: Polkomtel, T-Mobile, Orange and P4. In the annulled decision, the UOKiK Chairperson imposed total fines of PLN 113 million (approx. EUR 25 million). The annulment of the decision was upheld respectively by the Appellate Court [1] and Supreme Court [2].
