MERGERS: COMMISSION CLEARS ACQUISITON OF AN AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT BUSINESS OF FAURECIA BY PLASTIC OMNIUM, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS* The Commission has cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the automotive plastic exterior component business of Faurecia by Compagnie Plastic Omnium, both of France. The clearance is conditional upon divestment of some production facilities in France, Spain and Germany.
