On 16 January 2009, the Portuguese Competition Autority (Autoridade da Concorrência : “AdC”), pursuant to Article 112 (1) of the Code of Administrative Procedure, announced the lapsing of the notification proceedings regarding the acquisition, by the undertaking Petróleos de Portugal - Petrogal, S.A.
