The Hungarian Competition Office conditionally clears a merger between two major liquefied petroleum gas distributors (Prímagáz / Intergas)

In November 2009, Prímagáz Hungária Zrt. (Prímagáz) and Intergas Hungária ZRt. (Intergas) concluded a share sale and purchase agreement for the transfer of 100 percent of the shares in Intergas. Prímagáz, founded in 1992 with the aim of continuing the business activities of three previously state-owned gas distributors, is a subsidiary of the Dutch PAM Gas BV and a member of the SHV Group, which has activities related to propane-butane distribution in 23 countries on 4 continents. Prímagáz is currently the largest Hungarian retail distributor of liquefied petroleum gas (propane-butane, LPG).
