The Spanish Competition Authority publishes its strategic plan including sixteen actions in order to safeguard the proper functioning of all markets in the interests of citizens and companies in Spain

In late June the National Markets and Competition Commission (NMCC) published its definitive strategic plan, which has been approved by the Parliamentary Committee for Economy and Competitiveness. The document was previously subject to public consultation. In summary, the document contains a number of principles, some of them obvious, some of them of rather general or programmatic nature, often general declarations or expressions of intent. The focus on the fight against cartels probably stands out as one of the few meaningful mentions, at a moment where the CNMC
