Background On 15 May 2008, the Italian Competition Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato) closed the investigation launched in July 2007 for possible violations of Article 81 and/or 82 EC by the Italian Equestrian Sports Federation (Federazione Italiana Sport Equestri) (FISE), accepting the commitments proposed by FISE.
