The Hungarian Competition Office conditionally clears a merger in the television production market (Chellomedia/Filmmúzeum)

Chellomedia CEE Holdco B.V. (Chellomedia), a member of the group of undertakings under the control of Liberty Global Inc. (Liberty Group), requested the Hungarian Competition Office (HCO) to approve its acquisition of control over Filmmúzeum (the Proposed Transaction). The Proposed Transaction was executed by signing a share transfer agreement on 5 July 2007 with the two shareholders of Filmmúzeum The HCO has cleared the Transaction, subject to commitments. In view of the remedies proposed by Chellomedia, the HCO concluded that the operation does not result in the creation or strengthening of a dominant position on any of the relevant markets.
