The Italian Competition Authority fines several consultancy firms for bid rigging practices (Gara Consip)

Introduction In the Gara Consip AdA case the Italian Competition Authority (ICA) has imposed competition fines on several consultancy firms belonging to the global networks of Deloitte, KPMG, Ernst&Young (EY) and PWC for breaching Article 101 TFEU [1]. These firms were found to have put in place a bid rigging arrangement altering the award of government contracts.
