The French Competition Council fines taxi unions and radio-taxi networks for an agreement on licence resale price (Marseilles Taxis)

By a decision of 18 October 2006, five taxi associations and three radio-taxi networks were fined for having implemented between 2002 and 2006 an agreement fixing the resale price of taxi licenses in Marseilles. Taxi driving in France is only permitted by a professional taxi driver authorization and a “parking license” delivered by an administrative body. The parking license may be either obtained
