The operation By decision dated 9 October 2006, the Belgian Competition Council authorised the merger between Autogrill and Carestel subject to remedies. The merger combined the parties' fast food and commercial catering activities. The market(s) concerned by remedy(ies) The Belgian Competition Council identified two relevant markets: (a) the upstream market for parking area concessions for the provision of restaurant services along the motorway; and (b) the downstream market for the provision of restaurant services along the motorway. Remedy 1 Termination of certain exclusive supply arrangements
