The Spanish Competition Authority fines cable manufacturers and one trade association for their involvement in a cartel related to supply of low and medium voltage cables (Amara / Iberdrola / Cabelte...)

On 21 November 2017, the National Markets and Competition Commission (NMCC) imposed fines totalling €44.7 million on eleven undertakings and one trade association (the Spanish Association of Cable Manufacturers (FACEL) for their involvement in a cartel related to the supply of low and medium voltage
