The Serbian Competition Authority sanctions two bus operators for entering into a pooling agreement and eliminating price competition between them (Lasta and Europa Bus)

On 24 November 2011 the Serbian Competition Authority (KZK) [1] established that two bus operators, Lasta a.d. and Europa-Bus d.o.o. by concluding a pooling agreement concerning cooperation on the bus route Valjevo-Belgrade-Valjevo have committed an infringement of the national equivalent of Article 101 TFEU in the form of the anti-competitive agreement which resulted in elimination of price competition on the relevant market. The KZK‘s investigation commenced in 2010 following the complaint of a passenger, who has notified the KZK about the potential price fixing arrangements between Lasta and Europa-Bus. In response to the KZK‘s request for information the parties have submitted their Pooling Agreement concluded on 27.07.2010 as well as price lists applicable before
