On 18 November 2011 the Romanian Competition Authority (CC)  established that five taxi companies have conspired to set the uniform minimum tariff for the taxi transportation in the municipality of Baia Mare. The CC characterized the above action of the undertakings concerned as an anti-competitive agreement prohibited by the national equivalent  of Article 101 TFEU.
