The Cyprus Competition Authority fines the telecommunications incumbent over € 3 M for abusing its dominant position once again (Netsmart / Thunderworx)

NETSMART (CYPRUS) LTD (“Netsmart”) and THUNDERWORX LTD (“Thunderworx”) both undertakings active in the telecommunications industry, had filed to the Commission for the Protection of Competition (“CPC”) separate complaints in 2007 and 2005 respectively, both against CYTA, a Public Law undertaking created pursuant to the provisions of the Telecommunications Law, Cap. 302.
