The Swedish Competition Authority rejects complaint for abusive refusal to supply (SJ/MTR)

On 14 May 2014, the Swedish Competition Authority (SCA) rejected a complaint lodged by the global train company MTR against SJ AB, the incumbent Swedish railway, alleging that the latter has abused its dominant position on the market for online sales of long-distance train tickets in Sweden by denying MTR access to such services. MTR is planning on launching a commercial railway service between Stockholm and Gothenburg
