On 8 May 2014, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) dismissed an appeal by French industrial conglomerate, Bolloré, which sought to overturn a European Commission decision imposing a fine for its participation in a cartel on the market for carbonless paper, which was re-adopted in June 2010 following an earlier annulment by the ECJ (see VBB on Competition Law, Volume 2010, No. 6).
