The Bosnian & Herzegovina Competition Authority closes its investigation into the alleged predatory pricing practices on the market for TV commercials

On 5 May 2011 the Competition Authority of Bosnia & Herzegovina (KV) [1] rejected an abuse of collective dominance complaint lodged by the public TV operator Radiotelevizija Bosne i Hercegovine (BHTV) against a number of public and private TV companies (Radiotelevizija Federacije BiH (FTV), Pink BH Company d.o.o. (PINK), Mreža plus d.o.o. (MREŽA), OBN d.d. (OBN), Hayat TV d.o.o. (HAYAT). In its submission BHTV alleged the existence of predatory pricing practices on the market for TV advertising whereby the respondent TV companies were marketing their time for TV commercials at „dumping“ prices thus distorting competition on the relevant market and forcing competitors to reduce their prices to the same levels
