The Conseil de la concurrence delivers a favourable opinion concerning the draft decree on the sale of broadcasting rights for sporting competitions.* Asked by the Minister of Economy to issue an opinion on a draft decree concerning the sale of broadcasting rights for sporting competitions, the Conseil has declared its broad approval of the text submitted to it. The practice of granting professional leagues exclusivity for the sale of sporting rights can be justified by economic grounds.
