The company concerned is the Polish steel producer Huta Czestochowa S.A. (hereinafter ‘HCz‘). As the company is in financial difficulties, Poland is currently planning financial measures in order to restructure the company. The Commission is now seeking clarification whether and what kind of restructuring State aids was and will still be granted to the company.
