Introduction The Turkish Competition Board’s (“Board”) recent decision dated 26.03.2020 numbered 20-16/232-113 regarding Baymak Makina San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Baymak”) holds significant importance as it contains a detailed analysis regarding numerous vertical restraint types. Background Baymak is a prominent undertaking active in the markets for air-conditioners and central heating boilers in Turkey. Baymak manufactures and sells boilers, condensing boilers, heating boilers, air conditioners, panel radiators, water boosters, generators and water heaters, and provides assembly, repair, and maintenance services of these products.
