The Vilnius Regional Administrative Court upholds fine for misleading advertising in the hotel sector (NT partneriai / Karolinos turas)

A hotel is a hotel and the Karolina Park Hotel in Vilnius, Lithuania is no exception. So the Vilnius Regional Administrative Court (Court) upheld a decision of the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania (Council) that fined the developer Karolinos turas and real estate company NT patneriai, its advertising service provider, for misleading advertising when the hotel was promoted as something else. According to the Council: The Court stated that both companies Karolinos turas, which disseminated misleading advertising, and NT partneriai, which was responsible for running the advertising campaign, shall face liability for advertising hotel premises as residential real estate.
