The Polish Competition Authority issues guidelines on business secrets protection

On 16 March 2017 the Polish Competition Authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Konkurencji i Konsumentów, the “PCA”) issued guidelines on the request to limit the right of access to the case files (full name: “Information on the manner of submitting the request to limit the right of access to the case files”, hereinafter referred to as the “Guidelines”). The Guidelines clarify what kind of information is to be protected in the course of the PCA’s proceedings and how such protection should be applied for by the undertaking concerned.
