This study analyses the decision of the Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) in which it has closed the investigation it launched ex officio into alleged resale price maintenance of the market leader LPG distribution company, AYGAZ, due to a lack of appreciable effect on competition in the LPG distribution market. Background Established in 1961, Aygaz Inc. (AYGAZ) is active in production, import, supply and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the form of bottled gas and auto gas.
